OLIVER — A man has been arrested in Quebec and charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run near Oliver in June 2025, BC Highway Patrol announced Thursday, Oct. 29.

Police said a 22-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on June 15, 2025, near Cassini Winery, south of Oliver. He died at the scene, and the driver did not remain, according to investigators.
