The Boundary Sentinel is an independently owned news publication established in 2009 and relaunched in 2026. We offer a limited number of display advertising positions for businesses and organizations that want visibility alongside local and regional journalism.

Our introductory advertising rates make it affordable to maintain a presence over several months, with additional savings for businesses advertising across multiple regions.

Display Advertising

Homepage — $300 for three months

Three prominent advertising positions are available near the top of the Boundary Sentinel homepage. Each includes your approved image or graphic, business name, a short description and a direct link.

Regional News Pages — $150 per page for three months

Three direct advertising positions are available on each participating page. All display advertising is booked for three months and paid in advance.

Save When You Advertise Across Multiple Pages

For example, a homepage placement plus two regional pages costs $540 for three months, including the 10% discount. All six regional pages cost $720 for three months, while the complete seven-page network costs $960 for three months.

Discounts apply to display advertising placements purchased together for the same three-month period and do not stack with other package offers.

Sponsored Local Features — $250

Have a service, business, initiative or event you'd like to introduce to readers? Our Sponsored Local Feature includes an original article of approximately 500–800 words, an email interview, up to four supplied photographs, relevant links and social-media promotion.

Sponsored articles are clearly identified as paid content. The Boundary Sentinel retains editorial control over presentation and accuracy.

Featured Public Notices

Organizations can also arrange prominent publication of public-information notices, announcements and time-sensitive messages.

Homepage + Sponsored Feature — $500

Combine one three-month homepage placement with a Sponsored Local Feature for $500, a $50 saving compared with purchasing them separately.

Booking and Artwork

Display advertising includes one approved static image or graphic per position. JPG or PNG artwork is preferred, with a source width of at least 1,200 pixels. Placements adapt to different screen sizes, and previews can be arranged before publication.

Advertising is purchased by placement and duration. Individual impressions, clicks and results are not guaranteed.

Independent Journalism

Advertising revenue helps sustain the Boundary Sentinel's independent news coverage. Advertising purchases do not influence reporting decisions or guarantee editorial coverage. Businesses and organizations remain welcome to submit legitimate news for editorial consideration at no charge.
