VegFest Kelowna returns to City Park Sept. 20

VegFest Kelowna will return to City Park on Sept. 20 for its sixth annual festival, bringing plant-based food, vendors, entertainment and family activities to the park’s north field.
The outdoor festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is by donation, with organizers saying the money raised will help fund future vegan events in B.C.
Food vendors at the festival will serve vegan dishes, while local businesses will offer cruelty-free products. Live music, entertainment and speakers are also planned, along with activities for children and families.
Organizers say the festival is open to everyone, including people who are vegan or vegetarian and those interested in trying plant-based food.
Tourism Kelowna lists VegFest among the city’s annual fall events and says the festival will also include eco-friendly products, educational exhibits and wellness-focused programming.
Positively Vegan’s three main VegFest events for 2026 are in Nanaimo, Victoria and Kelowna, with Kelowna the final event in that three-city lineup.
VegFest Kelowna takes place Sunday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the north field of City Park.
A historic mine opening near Rossland’s Kootenay Columbia Trail will be permanently sealed, with a three-week trail closure beginning Sept. 28 so crews can complete the work.
