Police seek witnesses after man stabbed near Lund
Powell River RCMP are seeking witnesses after a 45-year-old man was allegedly attacked and stabbed along Highway 101 near Lund.

Powell River RCMP are seeking witnesses after a 45-year-old man was admitted to hospital with multiple stab wounds following an alleged attack along Highway 101 near Lund.
Police said they were contacted Aug. 30 after the man was admitted to hospital. Initial evidence suggests he had been walking along Highway 101 at around 4 a.m. when he was allegedly attacked by a group of unknown suspects, and RCMP said he is expected to survive.
The Sept. 1 RCMP release did not include suspect descriptions or information about what may have led to the attack. Anyone with information is asked to contact Powell River RCMP at 604-485-6255.
