Kamloops RCMP renew appeal two years after injured man found roadside

Kamloops RCMP are renewing a public appeal for information more than two years after a man was found seriously injured beside a highway and later died.
Bradley Germann-Wilson was found near the intersection of the Yellowhead Highway and Paul Lake Road shortly before 7 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2024, according to RCMP.
He was taken to hospital in serious condition. In a Sept. 5, 2024 report, RCMP listed the case under the heading “Hit and run report with injuries,” but by Sept. 25 said investigators suspected Germann-Wilson may have been assaulted.
Police said his injuries may have been sustained hours before he was found and appealed for witnesses, dash-camera footage and security video. RCMP also said he was believed to have previously been in the Terrace area.
Germann-Wilson later died.
On Sept. 3, 2026, Kamloops RCMP issued another public appeal as the investigation continues.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed an incident involving Germann-Wilson in the period leading up to Aug. 30, 2024, to come forward. Investigators are also seeking dash-camera footage that could be related to the case.
The latest RCMP release does not identify a suspect or report an arrest or charges.
The Sept. 3 release does not describe Germann-Wilson’s death as a homicide. Police continue to say investigators suspect he was the victim of an assault before he was found.
