Castlegar RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating Kimesha Clarke, 41, who was last seen Sept. 1 in the 1400 block of Columbia Avenue.

Castlegar RCMP issued a public appeal for help locating 41-year-old Kimesha Clarke after she was reported missing Sept. 1.
Clarke was last seen that day in the 1400 block of Columbia Avenue in Castlegar, according to the RCMP appeal issued Sept. 3. As of Sept. 7, the appeal remains posted on the RCMP website, and The Boundary Sentinel found no subsequent RCMP notice indicating that Clarke has been located.
Police describe Clarke as a Black woman, five-foot-seven, weighing approximately 122 pounds, with dark grey wavy hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing grey runners, camouflage leggings and a dark grey zip-up sweater, and was carrying a brown bag.
The Sept. 3 RCMP release does not provide additional information about the circumstances of Clarke’s disappearance or indicate where she may have been travelling.
