Advance voter registration closes Aug. 18 for Greenwood election

Advance voter registration for Greenwood’s 2026 general local election will close at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Voters will elect one mayor and four councillors in the upcoming municipal election.

Greenwood residents who are eligible to vote can register in advance by contacting Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683 or through the agency’s online voter registration system.

After advance registration closes, eligible voters who have not registered will still be able to apply at the time they vote.
