Liam Fraser and Kyle Strohmann combined for 40 points to lead the Grand Forks Wolves to a 65-53 victory over Stanley Humphries Rockers of Castlegar in the final of the Bomber Junior Boy's Invitational Saturday at the L.V. Rogers Hangar.

Strohman, playing most of the game in foul trouble, finished with a game-high 23 points while Fraser, lights out from behind the three-point line, had 17 including five threes.

The Wolves, fresh off winning the tournament last weekend in Trail, jumped out to an early 12-3 lead on the Rockers and looked to be in complete control of the game early.

However, the Rockers clawed back cutting the margin to four points in the second half when Grand Forks pulled away.

Grand Forks, which has dominated West Kootenay opposition this season, opened the tournament by blasting J. Lloyd Crowe of Trail and Mount Sentinel Wildcats of South Slocan.

The Wolves then knocked off host LVR Bombers in the semi final 56-29.

Stanley Humphries defeated LVR and Nakusp before getting past Crowe in the semi final.
