Not even a little rain or wind will stop the Balfour Ferry from its mission

The Balfour Ferry Terminal, and the Balfour Ferry have been in the news of late.

So has the crazy June weather.

Rudy Benno saw a little bit of everything from his Queens Bay cottage as he caught the Balfour Ferry fighting through a recent storm on Kootenay Lake.

Benno took a few pictures of the Balfour Ferry making its way across Kootenay Lake during some of the temperamental weather.

However, 20 minutes after the smaller ferry had crossed the lake through a powerful storm and the ferry returned came only to be happily riding on rays of sunlight and rainbow!

Thanks to Rudy for sharing these photos with The Nelson Daily readers.
