BCWS lifts campfire, ORV restrictions in Boundary; Greenwood ban remains

Two wildfire restrictions that affected the Boundary through much of August have now been lifted. BC Wildfire Service ended the Category 1 campfire prohibition at noon Sept. 1 throughout the Southeast Fire Centre, several days after rescinding its regional prohibition on recreational off-road vehicle use on Crown land.
