Rock Creek ready to Rock on Labour Day Weekend

By Nelson Daily staff

Rock Creek is set to . . . well, rock during the Labour Day Weekend as bands flock to the quiet community to strut their stuff at the 2013 Ponderosa Art & Music Festival.

“What better way is there to spend a long weekend than camping by a river in beautiful British Columbia and listening to bomb beats in the hot sun, where the night comes alive with music and amazing times,” says the 2013 Ponderosa Art & Music Festival website.

“We tell you . . . there ain’t nothin like it.”

The festival runs from August 30 to September 1.

Some of the bands include Humans, Gold & Youth, Bend Sinister, Close Talker, The Belle Game, Fields of Green and many, many more.

Tickets are $125 for a weekend pass and $400 4-For-4 Group Weekend Passes and can be purchased at Milk Crate Records in Kelowna or email at or online at https://www.eventbrite.ca
