Snowmageddon is returning as Environment Canada issues Winter Storm Warning

It you thought it was bad before, wait until later today . . . or maybe Thursday.
Environment Canada has issued another Winter Storm Warning for the West Kootenay/Boundary region, with accumulations that could reach up to 45 cms expected beginning Wednesday afternoon.
"Hazardous winter conditions are expected," said Environment Canada.
"An intense Pacific warm front will bring heavy snow to most of the Columbia and Kootenay districts tonight through Thursday. Total snowfall accumulations of at least 25 cm are expected."
Anyone with non-essential travel should consider postponing until conditions improve.
"Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop."
Snow accumulation is expected to be as high as 25 cms tonight on mountain passes, including the Paulson and Kootenay Pass Highways.
