Police seek public's assistance to locate missing man

The Elk Valley Regional RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public in their investigation of a missing person.

On Saturday (December 3) , Jeremy Roy Scott Wellman was reported missing to the RCMP. 

The 32-year-old man was last seen at around 7 p.m. on Friday (December 2), when he went to get gas in Fernie, BC.

Wellman is described as 6 feet tall, approximately 240 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black and white “Billabong” jacket, black sweater, gray sweat pants and a black baseball cap with red insignia on the front.

Anyone with any information regarding Wellman’s whereabouts can be provided to the Elk Valley RCMP by telephone at 250-425-6233, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477.
