UPDATED: Police Report Missing Nelson Man Located

Nelson Police are pleased to announce that Jason Davis was located by friends and family in the early evening on Thursday, September 1, 2016.

Police said Davis was given a ride home by friends and family and is doing well.
 
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in providing the initial press release to a wide audience in a timely manner.

Police ask for public assistance in locating missing Nelson Man

Nelson Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Nelson man who has not been seen or heard from since 8:30 a.m. Thursday (September 1).

Sergeant Dino Falcone said in a NPD media release said Jason Davis, in his mid-40s, was last seen leaving Rosemont on a white with blue markings 2009 Yamaha Dual purpose dirt bike bearing BC licence plate E98762.
 
Falcone said Davis, who is 6-feet,180 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a brown snowboard jacket, jeans and black Doc Martin boots.

Nelson Police, family and friends are concerned for the well-being of Davis and wish to locate him as quickly as possible.

If anyone locates Davis or his motorcycle, they are asked to please contact your local police department.
