Pass Creek crash sends local to hospital

A local man has been released from hospital after a serious accident on Feb. 17, according to Castlegar Deputy Fire Chief Sam Lattanzio.

"Castlegar Fire responded to a MVI (motor vehicle incident) at (roughly 9:10 a.m.) on Tuesday, at 1846 Pass Creek Road," Lattanzio said.

"The Jaws of Life were used to free a lone elderly male trapped in a rollover. Castlegar Fire in conjunction with Pass Creek Fire and BCAS personnel worked collaborately to free the man.

"The lone occupant was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries and later released."
