Rossland brewery wins provincial beer award

The Rossland Beer company has won a prestigious award for its Paydirt Pale Ale. The third place award in the BC Beer Awards is a real coup for the company, which is going from success to success lately.

According to co-owner Petri Raito, his company's success will have a significant spillover (so to speak) into The Mountain Kingdom's tourism industry.

"[This award] will have people coming here from all over to try our beer and visit Rossland."

The brewery, located at 1990-A Columbia Avenue in Rossland, is open for tasting and selling their range of fine brews six days a week, Tuesday to Saturday.
