Artisans works gave Christmas shoppers lots of options

Boundary artisans held their annual Christmas faire at Gallery 2 last weekend, Dec. 2 and 3, offering Christmas shoppers an array of intriguing locally-made products. The Gallery was filled with two floors of artisans showing their work from pottery, to copper work and silver jewelry.

Artisans offer their work for sale from their home studios throughout the Christmas season as well. For information on the different vendors contact Gallery 2.

Mona Mattei founded the Boundary Sentinel in 2009 and served as its owner, editor and publisher until 2013, when Shara JJ Cooper took over the publication. In 2010, Mattei received a Jack Webster Foundation fellowship to pursue postgraduate journalism studies through the London School of Journalism. She also holds a degree in economics from UBC.
