School administration staff shifting roles

School District 51 announce the appointment of Doug Lacey as the new Director of Learning effective July 1, 2013.  

Lacey has been with School District 51 since 1996 and is currently the Principal of J.A. Hutton Elementary School and prior to that was the Principal of Christina Lake Elementary School.

This announcement follows the announcement of the new superintendent of schools, Kevin Argue, and will result in a shifting of principals around the disctrict for the next school year as both Argue and Lacey leave their positions.
