$50 million Lotto Max ticket sold in Kelowna; $5 Million 6/49 in Vernon

Have you travelled to Kelowna lately?

What about Vernon?

When you were in the Central Okanagan Cities, did you perhaps purchase a lotto ticket? A Lotto Max Ticket? A 6/49 ticket?

Better check them quickly as it's been said the one winning ticket for the $50 million jackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw was sold in Kelowna.

The one winning ticket for the $5-million 6/49 jackpot in Saturday night's was sold in Vernon, B.C.

The BC Lottery Corporation said this is the second time a big Lotto-Max winner has been found in Kelowna in 2016.

In the February 20 Lotto 6/49 draw, a resident won $21.9 million.

During Friday's draw the seven MaxMillions on the draw with one million-dollar prize claimed by a ticket purchased in the Prairies.

The grand prize for next Friday's draw will be approximately $16 million.

On March 18 a Toronto ticket holder won a $60 million Lotto Max jackpot.

The BC Lottery Corporation said the store in Kelowna where the ticket was purchased would be announced after the winner has claimed $50 million prize.
