Trail man charged with second degree murder

A preliminary inquiry is slated to for November after the 2017 slaying of Hrold Paddock, according to Trail RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.

"On Aug. 22, 2017, around 5 a.m. Harold Paddock (78) was assaulted in downtown Trail, in which the injuries he received allegedly ultimately resulted in his death. On January 17, 2019, Joel Anderson (28) was charged with Second Degree Murder contrary to Section 235 of the Criminal Code of Canada in the death of Harold Paddock. 

"The Preliminary Inquiry into this Second Degree Murder charge will take place on November 20 and 21, 2019, and continue on a third date of December 2, 2019, in Provincial Court, in Rossland, BC."
